OptiComm’s ultra high-speed fibre optic GPON network connects Central park’s next generation telecommunications and building automation systems. The network will provide ultra high-speed 100Mbps Internet, Phone, Foxtel, Free to Air TV, Video Intercom, CCTV and connectivity for the energy monitoring system provided to every apartment. Six residential buildings are already active on the network with other buildings to be constructed at Central Park to also be connected upon completion.

OptiComm now has more than 65 projects under development and is contracted to deliver services to over 15,000 ultra high-speed network endpoints across residential, commercial, mixed use and business precincts. In June 2015, OptiComm was a finalist in the communications’ industry’s premier awards for excellence, the ACOMMS which acknowledged the innovative security service solutions. OptiComm was awarded as a finalist in the Innovation – Small Medium Enterprise division for services provided to Central Park.
