11 April 2019 - Last night, the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat, the international body awarded Central Park the overall category award for Urban Habitat – District / Master Plan Scale at the 2019 CTBUH Awards for Excellence in Shenzhen, China.
As part of the Tall + Urban Innovation Conference, Central Park competed against 3 other large-scaled master plan finalists in a presentation spotlight, with Frasers Property Australia’s Development Director, Michael Goldrick and Muir Livingstone, Partner at Foster + Partners presenting to the category jury the complexities in converting the former brewery site into a thriving neighbourhood community. The international accolade has recognised Central Park’s role as a prized urban habitat, where the precinct’s buildings provide connectivity and positively affect the lives of those that live or work within the master plan, and neighbour area.
